She's Mercedes' Concept was launched on the 07th March prior to the Women's International Day and I was there. It was fun, really fun but it was also a very empowering moment for women.
Successful and strong women like Vimi Appadoo, President of Women in Networking, Priscilla Balgobin-Bhoyrul, Lawyer, or Caroline Chen, Director of Atom Travel exchanged with the guests on women in society and their personal challenges to make it to the top as women. I smiled while listening to them, it was pleasant to see that successful people too might feel weak or scared but yet hard work and confidence overshadows all these insecurities.
It is an honor to work with a brand that understands the importance of women. The presence of L’Oréal Makeup Designer during She’s Mercedes launching speaks a lot on how we see physical beauty but also strength in every woman and that’s why we celebrate them every day.
So let’s get back to the makeup guys… I created a classic black smokey eyes and nude lips on Anne Sophie using La Palette Ombrée and Color Riche la Palette Lèvres (Beige). Desirella wore a subtle plum smokey eyes with ombre red lips created with La Palette Nude Rosé and Color Riche la Palette Lèvres (Red). Both models had a soft contour made with Glam Bronze La Terra, one of my new favorite products of L’Oréal Makeup Designer. I love this warm touch it brings to your face and how easy it is to work with. LOVE IT!
International women’s day is over but remember to show respect and love to women every day as it is very challenging for them to be themselves and keep going. This day was here to remind us how beautiful they are and how much they deserve equality.
