My makeup live was yesterday and I had the stunning Clémie Polydor, as model. We laughed a lot and I created this warm eye makeup with big lashes and pinkish nude lips. For those who missed the live makeup and who are too lazy to watch the 1-hour-long video, lets jump into this recap.
Casual all the way
If you like spontaneous people, and real interaction then you would have loved this live as it’s so real. Uncensored, unrehearsed, genuine, this live makeup was faithful to the way I behave in the everyday life.
Today social media grants us the opportunity to display our life publicly and we have to be very careful not to lose ourselves in the process of creating a lovable life when seen from outside. Truth being said I thought about this very clean makeup demo, with a nice set up, during a Facebook Live. But would this showcase who I am? Hell no! That’s why you got served this Hans Telvave and Clémie having fun with makeup as if no one was watching Oh and that felt so good! #freedom
I love spoiling people! It’s something that really makes me happy and I am super grateful to my loving sponsors who invested in all the beautiful gifts for the models and viewers. Clémie left with 4 eye shadows, a lipstick from Raya Cosmétiques, a face mask from The Face Shop Mauritius and a Duo lash glue while Elory Stephen Ramkurun won our previous give away. Lucky girls!
You can also win amazing gifts, namely a Dr Belmeur kit and cleanser from The Face Shop and a Lancôme Star Bronzer from Mado Parfums. Share my live video, your post should be public, and you might be the next winner of this 3000 rs give away.
Epic and epic fail moments
That moment when you start your live introduce your model and give the wrong name. Impolite I agree but thank God Clémie and I get along so well that it made the moment/s hilarious! For those who know me, you know that I’m really bad at remembering names, really bad. SORRY.
For those who watched the video, what did you think of that moment when the camera fell while we tried to fix the sound? Like OMG! OH MYYY GOOOOOD! Clémie and I starred at each other for a few seconds and then we just laughed. If you fall stand up and keep going, your energy is more important than an accident.
And yes note to myself, get closer to the window or invest in a Diva ring light.
You want a recipe for disaster: Judge yourself, criticize yourself, read hateful comments, don’t acknowledge your efforts and hard work. I’ve been an adept of this sort of practice and I am so grateful to myself for being more loving and compassionate towards myself. I decided that as long as I have fun while working on a project, stay the true me and respect others then it is a success. It does not have to be flawless, it does not have to be professional, it has to be true because people connect to the truth.
I had so much fun yesterday during that live and during the preparation. Honestly I am missing it and I am counting days for the next live. Thank you Clémie and to the sponsors, I feel the love and all the positive energy.
